2009 Safety Path Update (November 26, 2008)

The final construction drawings for the 2009 Safety Path Construction Program will be available for public review and comment on December 2, 2008.  The final construction plans will be available for review at townhall and on the township website.  Written public comments will be received through January 16, 2009.  During the review period, the township design consultants will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am to 12 pm to field questions regarding the project.    

The 2009 Safety Path Construction Program will consist of the following segments:

• Segment 7 & 8 – Inkster Road (south of Maple to Fairview Colony Club)
• Segment 11 – 14 Mile Road (north side near Pebble Creek Condos)
• Segment 15 – Haggerty Road (south of Maple)
• Segment 18 – Maple Road (north side west of Drake)
• Segment 21 – Maple Road (south side west of Farmington Road)
• Segment 24 – Maple Road (south side west of Orchard Lake Road)
• Segment 38 – Oakley Park Road (south side, Twin Beach Elementary west)
• Segment 42 – Willow Road (south side east of Keith Road)
• Segment 43 – Willow Road (north side west of Lochaven Road)
• Segment 45 – Lochaven Road
• Segment 47 – Commerce Road (north side east of Hiller Road)
• Segment 48 – Willow Road (south side, Lochaven east to Green Bay)
• Segment 49 – Willow Road (south side west of Hiller Road)
• Segment 62 – Haggerty Road (north of Pontiac Trail)
