WEST BLOOMFIELD STUDIES RECYCLING OPTIONS CCIRF COMMENCED |
In January 2009, the Charter Township of West Bloomfield has joined six neighboring communities in a study of options on how to best handle solid waste and recycling in north Oakland County. West Bloomfield and its neighbors have received $250,000 from Oakland County's Capital Cooperative Investment Revolving Fund (CCIRF) to complete the study. The partnering communities are hopeful that the study will result in an option that is environmentally sustainable, reduces costs for residents, expands services for residents and generates revenue.
