If the permit request involves work within a floodway, floodplain, wetland, or watercourse (i.e. seawall, in-water beach sanding, etc.), the white form marked Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) "Application for Permit" must be completed and filed with the Environmental Department as well as the MDEQ If the permit request involves work within an Environmental Feature Setback but not in a floodplain, please return the completed Environmental Feature Setback Application to the Township's Environmental Department If the permit request involves work within the floodplain and environmental feature setback , the white form marked Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) "Application for Permit" must be completed and filed with the Environmental Department as well as the MDEQ
