Permit 1

Date of Issuance - April 28, 2008

Request                   A request to repair an existing boulder seawall involving resetting existing stone, adding new stone and installing new geo-textile fabric above the Ordinary High Water Mark of Cass Lake within the 25-foot environmental features setback.  The project also requests the remove of two dead Willow stumps and native landscaping within the environmental features setback

Request                  A request to replace an existing chain link fence with a 4’ steel picket fence and to place 7 cubic yards of sand in an existing beach area above the Ordinary High Water Mark

Date of Issuance - May 22, 2008

Request                  A request to replace existing wooden and  concrete retaining walls with new Uni-lock retaining walls and replace a deteriorating concrete patio with brick pavers within the same location as the old structures within the 25-foot environmental features setback of Union Lake.  The project also involves native landscaping throughout the environmental features setback

 

Rights

  1. The application is available for inspection at the Environmental Department during Township office hours.
  2. The date on or after which the Director may issue the administrative permit which shall be at least 21 days after the date the notice is given.
  3. Persons within 300 ft. of the subject property and homeowner/lake associations may file written objections or challenges to the administrative permit to be issued on the aforementioned date and such objections or challenges must be based on and include some substantiation for claims that the Director has not properly interpreted and/or applied this Chapter in determining that the permit should be issued, that the proposed operations warrant a broader review by the wetland review board for specified reasons, or that specified feasible and prudent alternatives exist.
